Preparation
  1. Preheat the air fryer to 360°F (182°C) to ensure even cooking.
  2. Pat the chicken breasts dry with paper towels to help them crisp up better.
  3. In a bowl, coat the chicken breasts with olive oil, then season them with salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and paprika. Make sure the seasoning is evenly distributed.
Cooking
  1. Place the seasoned chicken breasts in the air fryer basket, ensuring they do not overlap for optimal airflow.
  2. Cook for 18-20 minutes, flipping halfway through to ensure even cooking. Use a meat thermometer to check that the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C).
Serving
  1. After cooking, let the chicken rest for 5 minutes before slicing and serving. This allows the juices to redistribute for maximum tenderness.

Notes

Make sure the chicken is patted dry to enhance browning. For extra flavor, marinate the chicken in your favorite sauce for a couple of hours before cooking. Experiment with different spices like Italian seasoning or lemon pepper. For breaded chicken, dip it in a mixture of eggs and breadcrumbs after oiling and seasoning. To ensure consistent cooking, use chicken breasts that are roughly the same size.
