Ingredients

Main Ingredients
  • 4 pieces flour tortillas
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 tablespoon chopped parsley or dried Italian herbs
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • ¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • to taste Salt

Method

Preparation
  1. In a small bowl, combine the melted butter, minced garlic, garlic powder, herbs, and salt. Mix well to create a flavorful garlic spread.
  2. Using a brush or a spoon, apply the garlic butter mixture to one side of each tortilla. Be generous for maximum flavor.
  3. Sprinkle a generous amount of mozzarella and Parmesan cheese over half of each tortilla. Fold the tortillas in half to create a half-moon shape.
Cooking
  1. Set your air fryer to 375°F (190°C) and let it heat up for 2-3 minutes.
  2. Place the folded tortillas in the air fryer basket in a single layer. Air fry them for 5-7 minutes, flipping halfway through until golden brown and crispy.
  3. Once done, carefully remove the tortillas from the air fryer. Allow them to cool slightly before slicing them into wedges and serving warm.

Notes

Feel free to sprinkle crushed red pepper flakes for a spicy kick or use different cheeses like cheddar or gouda. To make it vegan, substitute butter with olive oil and use vegan cheese alternatives.
