Ingredients
  

Salad Base
  • 1 head head of lettuce, chopped Provides a sturdy base.
  • 2 cups cherry tomatoes, halved Use cut-side up for better presentation.
  • 1 cup cucumber, diced Adds a refreshing crunch.
  • 1 cup bell pepper, chopped Any color you prefer, for vibrant presentation.
  • 1 cup shredded cheese Cheddar or your favorite cheese.
  • 1 cup cooked bacon, crumbled Substitute with a plant-based option if desired.
  • 1 cup peas Fresh or thawed if frozen.
Dressing
  • 1 cup mayonnaise Base for the dressing.
  • 2 tablespoons sugar Balances the dressing.
  • 1 tablespoon vinegar Apple cider or white vinegar.
  • to taste Salt and pepper For seasoning.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. In a large glass bowl, layer the chopped lettuce evenly across the bottom.
  2. Layer the cherry tomatoes, cut-side up, on top of the lettuce.
  3. Add the diced cucumber in a layer, spreading it out over the tomatoes.
  4. Sprinkle the chopped bell pepper evenly on top of the cucumber.
  5. Layer the shredded cheese over the bell peppers.
  6. Sprinkle the crumbled bacon over the cheese.
  7. Spread the peas evenly over the bacon layer.
  8. In a separate bowl, combine the mayonnaise, sugar, vinegar, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined.
  9. Spread the dressing over the top of the layered salad.
  10. Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 2 hours before serving.
Serving
  1. Scoop the salad onto individual plates and enjoy.

Notes
