  • 2 cups cold heavy whipping cream Use full-fat heavy cream for the best results.
  • 1 can sweetened condensed milk (14 ounces) This ingredient acts as a sweetener and softener.
  • 2 teaspoons real vanilla extract Enhances the flavor of the ice cream.
Optional Mix-Ins
  • 1 cup crushed cookies or chocolate chips Optional, for added flavor and texture.
  • 1 cup swirls of peanut butter or caramel Great for flavor variations.
  • 1 cup spoonfuls of jam or berry compote Add for sweetness and fruitiness.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. In a large bowl, whip the cold heavy cream until stiff peaks form.
  2. In a separate bowl, combine sweetened condensed milk and vanilla extract until smooth.
  3. Gently fold half of the whipped cream into the condensed milk mixture to lighten it.
  4. Fold in the remaining whipped cream until well combined.
Freezing
  1. Pour the mixture into a freezer-safe container, smoothing the top, and cover with plastic wrap.
  2. Freeze for at least 4 hours, or overnight for best results.
Serving
  1. Scoop the ice cream and serve in cones or bowls. Let it sit for 2-3 minutes if it’s too firm.

Notes

For best results, use cold ingredients throughout the process. Optional mix-ins can be added before freezing.
